2 (1990) A fire at the Thornhill library causes $1 million in damage.
3 (2000) Fire and EMS crews are called to rescue a man who climbed out of a stuck elevator and fell four stories down the shaft.
4 (1995) HAZMAT crews contain 7,000 liters of fuel dumped into the sewer by vandals.
5 (1994) Firefighters rescue a cabbie whose cab jumped a guardrail and hit a tree.

9 (1994) A lumber truck flips, and firefighters must remove hundreds of scattered 2x4’s from the road.

14 (1983) A fire breaks out at YYC. Airport fire crews are quick to respond.
15 (1939) Hall’s Feed and Transfer Storage burns.
16 (1994) Five are injured in a three-car pileup.
17 (1989) The fire department responds to a collision between a car and a bus.
18 (2000) Four youths are charged with arson.
19 (1996) A deadly fire breaks out in a minibus, destroying the vehicle and claiming the life of a passenger.

21 (1988) A $300,000 mansion burns to the ground.
22 (2000) Three would-be drug cooks are burned when their product explodes.
23 (2000) A crane operator comes to the rescue when an occupied car becomes trapped under a semi, using his crane to lift the trailer from the car.
24 (1995) A deadly car accident claims one life.
25 (1998) Careless roofers start the roof of Fire Station 2 afire. Help is not far away, and the fire is quickly extinguished.

27 (1971) Last Alarm for Lieutenant Harold Smith.
28 (1995) A historic apartment building is gutted by flames.
29 (1995) The magnesium metal in a Volkswagen ignites. As water and fire extinguishers cannot put out flaming magnesium, firefighters use sand from a playground to smother the flames.
30 (2002) Fire rips through seven condo buildings in Erlton.
